Business Development Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic, motivated and customer-focused Business Development Manager to join our team and drive sales within the education sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Campus management solutions tailored to educational institutions. They will be responsible for identifying sales opportunities, building relationships with decision-makers in Schools, Colleges and Universities, and ensure that our software solutions meet the needs of the customers.
Responsibilities:
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating revenue by developing and implementing sales strategies, managing a team of sales professionals, and building strong relationships with clients & prospects. Your role will involve identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and closing deals. Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities to senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 5-7 years of proven work experience in related roles.
- Proven track record of success in Software/IT sales, preferably within the education industry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers, understanding their pain points and proposing effective solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools to manage leads, track activities, and generate reports.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
